Folsom Home Restoration Project

Elite Construction and Remodel Corp. completed several tasks addressing damage caused by uncontrollable exterior moisture sources. The work involved removing and replacing various wood components, ensuring compliance with building codes, and utilizing standard-grade materials locally available in the market.

Key Repairs and Replacements:

1. Various Size Trim Damaged custom-size trim was removed and new wood materials were installed.

2. S8Z - 8" OC T1-11 Siding and Trim - Damaged siding and trim were cut back and removed. The framing was inspected with no additional damage detected. Blocking was installed as per code, followed by new siding with Z-bar and new trim spliced in at the repaired areas.

3. S8 - 8" OC T1-11 Siding and Trim - Siding and trim were cut back, removed, and inspected. Complete sheets of new siding were installed, and trim was spliced into the repaired areas.

4. S0Z - No Groove T1-11 Siding and Trim - Trim and siding were cut back, inspected, and replaced. Blocking was installed where necessary, along with Z-bar and new trim.

5. S0Z - No Groove T1-11 Siding and Trim - Trim and siding were cut back, inspected, and replaced. Blocking was installed where necessary, along with Z-bar and new trim.

6. WRF – Window Re-flash - The client requested a window re-flash after siding removal. The window was reflashed according to current building codes.

7. DK - Door Kicker - Damaged wood at the door kicker was removed and inspected. No further damage was evident, so new materials were installed.

8. X - Satellite Dish Removal - A satellite dish was removed at the client’s request.

9. BB110 - 1x10 Belly Band - Damaged wood was removed, and no further issues were found. New wood members were installed.

10. BE68 - 6x8 Beam - The damaged section of the 6x8 beam was cut out and replaced with a new piece.

11. BE410 - 4x10 Beam The damaged section of the 4x10 beam was removed and replaced with a new beam section.

12. BE410 - 4x10 Beam The damaged section of the 4x10 beam was removed and replaced with a new beam section.

13. BR28 - 2x8 Barge Rafter - The roof covering and drip edge flashing were removed to expose the damaged area. The damaged rafter was replaced, and roof covering and flashing were reinstalled.

Construction Debris Construction debris was hauled and disposed of at a local waste management center. All tasks were completed per the outlined recommendations, using standard-grade materials to ensure durability and compliance.
